Team Assist Girard FD
At 7:28pm, West Ridge was alerted for a fast
team assist to Girard FD for a reported structure fire at 3481 Northcreek Drive.
Engine 17, with a crew of six, went in route four minutes later and arrived on
location twelve minutes later. While in route to the scene, crews were given
assignments as to what tools to grab after arriving on location. Once on location,
Engine 17 stood by for about 30 minutes, but the crew was not put to work. Engine
17 arrived back in quarters at 8:39pm. The fire is suspicious because the trailer
was vacant at the time of the fire. A State Police Fire Marshall was requested
to investigate by Command. Several West County Fire Departments remained on scene
to perform overhaul.
